Youth inclusion programmes
The Junior Youth Inclusion programme
This is funded by the Children's Fund and works with 50 young people in the Tower Hill and Southdene areas of Kirkby who are regarded as being vulnerable by a range of organisations and agencies. The programme has strong links to the Senior Youth Inclusion programme in the North Huyton area and the Learning and Developing Skills project based in Kirkby.
The Senior Youth Inclusion programme
This is funded by the Youth Justice Board and works with 50 young people in the North Huyton area who are regarded as being vulnerable by a range of organisations and agencies. There are 70 programmes nationally and it is regarded as being one of the Youth Justice Board's main youth crime prevention initiatives.
