Knowsley Children and Young People's Services

Things to do outdoor pursuits contentThere are loads of outdoor activities you can take part in around Knowsley.

Do you love nature? Then why not join our junior rangers club and go pond dipping, bird watching or take part in the art and craft activities.

Award schemes

If you want to be a bit more adventurous, why not get involved in one of Knowsley’s award schemes such as the junior citizenship award for 7 to 9 year-olds and the mayor of Knowsley’s award for those of you who are between the ages of 9 and 14.

These award schemes include a wide range of activities such as skiing, arts, camping and canoeing. Visit the awards section to find out more.

Not enough to do?

If you feel that there aren’t enough outdoor activities for young people in Knowsley, why not get in touch with our area youth workers and let them know what you want to see more of.

The youth workers work out on the streets with young people wherever they meet – in parks or on street corners – and will ask you what you like doing, organise projects, trips and courses. If you are approached, always make sure you ask to see their identity badges.
