- female condom or spermicide
The Knowsley THINK website and the Teen sexual health website has loads of information on all of the above, and more.
Advice on contraception
Your local THINK clinic will give you confidential advice and support on sex, relationships, contraception and STI’s. To find your nearest clinic, visit the THINK website or call 0800 138 6559.
You can also consult your GP or seek advice from your local family planning centre to discuss what method would suit you best.
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
Even if you use any of the contraception methods above, you are not protected from exposure to STIs unless you use a condom. If you don’t know about your partner’s previous relationships or are not in a stable relationship, you are putting yourself at risk if you have unprotected sex.
