You can teach your child about rhythm by simply clapping or humming tunes for them to copy.

 

You can also buy toy drums, guitars, pianos and xylophones for them to play with.

 

If they enjoy music or have a natural talent they may want to learn a musical instrument.  Most schools have music lessons and will encourage children to attend after school classes to learn new instruments if they show a particular interest in music.

 

If your child enjoys listening to music, accompany them to venues to see their favourite artists.
