Are you worried a child is being abused?
Most children who are being abused don't tell anyone about it. There are possible signs we should all look out for. These might include:
- A child who is often bruised or injured.
- A child who is often very dirty or smelly.
- A child who is often hungry.
- A child who is often left at home alone.
- A baby crying constantly.
- A child who is often withdrawn.
- A child who displays sexually inappropriate behaviour.
Safeguarding children is the responsibility of everyone in the community. If you are worried a child might be being abused, don't keep it to yourself.
Call one of the following numbers and share your concerns. Doing nothing does not protect children.
