Up to 25000 volts of electricity power the trains - it's never switched off and you don't even have to touch it to get killed. This is the message from Network Rail.

Don’t risk being killed by crossing the tracks:

• Don’t take shortcuts
• Don’t mess around
• Don’t play chicken
