At play swimmingIt is important for you to get into the habit of taking regular exercise early on in life and swimming can be a fun way to keep fit.

Who knows, you might even have a natural talent for it and end up taking part in swimming galas and competitions.

If you’re not a very strong swimmer or have never had the chance to learn, why not ask your parents if you can take some swimming lessons. It could even be something you could do as a family.

Your local council run leisure centre will have details of class times and prices:

  • Halewood Leisure Centre – 0151 443 2124

  • Scotchbarn Leisure Centre – 0151 443 4643
  • Ruffwood Pool – 0151 443 4303
