If you work with children and young people in Knowsley we would like you to take part in the skills audit. It is a web based questionnaire which will provide comprehensive data for long-term planning and identify skills and training needs (a paper version is also available if you prefer). Managers will be required to verify some of the information to ensure its accuracy.

 

At present there is very little information about the wider children and young people's workforce in terms of numbers and skills, so this research should provide us with more detail.

 

You and the organisations you work for can benefit from completing the questionnaire as it can provide you with action plans and identify  your strengths and weaknesses. In smaller organisations and voluntary groups this will help to relieve pressure on managers and could help feed into a personal development plan for the individual and a training plan for the organisation.
