Knowsley Children and Young People's Services

Youth Parliament

Youth Parliment content logoThe UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) gives young people, between the age of 11 and 18, the chance to be heard and listened to by local and national government, providers of services for young people and other agencies, who have an interest in the views and needs of young people.

The UKYP meets regularly throughout the year at a variety of locations across Britain. MYPs represent both young men and women, including young people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, and with physical and learning disabilities.

Nathan Horan, aged 15, is the MYP for Knowsley.
